I have run the AHT and it reports no errors. I have been able to repeat this for 10 times or more. When I click on the update button, the download progress bar starts, runs for a tiny bit, and then the computer turns off. There is a pending download for Xcode Command Line tools 9.1 update in the App Store Updates. With the clean install install of High Sierra, I have observed a sure fire operation that triggers the turn off. The 3rd disk has a upgrade from Sierra spinning drive, which also exhibits the "turn off" problem. One of the other disks, a Samsung 850 EVO SSD, has a clean install of High Sierra. I have three disks in the computer, one disk has Yosemite 10.10.5 which works fine. There is nothing significant in the logs, and there is no kernel panic notification when the computer restarts. Since then, while running High Sierra, the computer will turn off suddenly at certain times.
